Indonesian agritech startup Elevarm has raised US$4.25 million in pre-Series A financing led by Intudo, with participation from existing investors Insignia Ventures Partners and 500 Global. Founded in 2022, Elevarm specializes in horticulture production and providing high-quality agricultural inputs to smallholder farmers across Indonesia.

The company's offerings include superior seeds, bio-based fertilizers, and environmentally friendly pest control solutions, all developed through their in-house R&D division. Currently supporting over 15,000 farmers across West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta, Elevarm plans to use the funding to expand their seedling varieties, develop new bio-based agri-inputs through NextBio, and launch AI-powered digital tools.

Malaysia-based Okapi Technologies has secured a debt facility of up to US$2 million, arranged by Aquila, an IoT-focused sustainable finance company operating in SEA. This financing will be instrumental in promoting residential solar adoption among homeowners and small businesses in Malaysia and nearby regions.

The company plans to leverage this new funding to support their growth efforts throughout Malaysia and expand further into the broader Southeast Asian market. According to Aquila CEO Stefano Pellegrino, Okapi's ability to finance engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors plays an essential role in advancing solar adoption across the region.

SeaX Ventures has announced the launch of SeaX Zero, their debut climate-focused fund with an initial capital of US$6 million. This new fund represents a significant step in their commitment to addressing pressing environmental challenges through deeptech innovation, while pursuing their mission to drive 1% of GDP growth for SEA while reducing 1% of global carbon emissions.

SeaX Zero will invest in 15-20 climate tech startups, supporting seed to Series A rounds with investments ranging from $100-500k. The fund has already backed four pioneering companies: Hoxton Farms (cultivated fat for sustainable food), Type One Energy (fusion energy), Active Surfaces (thin-film solar technology), and BLUU Seafood (lab-grown fish). This initial fund aims to prove that climate tech is both essential and a strong investment opportunity, potentially paving the way for a future 10x fund.
